Why this platform exists

I have been an LIC advisor for four years, working the way most advisors do: in person, with friends, family and people they refer. It works, but it has a ceiling — and more importantly, it does not match how people actually make decisions now.

People research online before they buy anything, and insurance is no exception. What they find is either LIC's official site, which is built for policy administration rather than for helping you decide, or comparison sites that are trying to sell you something within thirty seconds. There was room for something in between: a place that explains LIC plans properly, does the arithmetic honestly, and lets you take your time.

How I work

• You do as much as you want on your own. Every calculator and every plan page here is free and needs no account.
• If you want to talk to someone, I am available — by email, and by phone or WhatsApp once you get in touch.
• When you decide to buy, the application is completed through LIC's official channels under my own licence code. Your policy is an LIC policy, issued by LIC.
• After the policy is issued, I stay your point of contact for premium reminders, servicing questions, and claims support.

What I will not do

• I will not quote you a return, a bonus, or a maturity value that I cannot show you in an official LIC document.
• I will not tell you an LIC plan fits your goal when it does not. Long-term guaranteed products are not built for short-term high returns, and pretending otherwise is how people end up surrendering policies at a loss three years in.
• I will not call you repeatedly because you used a calculator.

A note on what KNATRA is

KNATRA is my own business name. This platform is independent — it is not LIC's website, it is not owned by LIC, and it does not represent LIC in an official capacity. What I hold is an LIC advisor appointment, which lets me help you choose and apply for LIC policies. The products, the policy documents and the eventual payout are all LIC's.
