What to include in your message

The more of this you can share, the more useful the first reply will be — but none of it is required, and a one-line question is perfectly fine.

• Your age, and the ages of anyone who depends on your income
• What you are trying to achieve — protection, savings, a child's education, retirement
• Roughly what you can set aside, and over how long
• Any LIC or other insurance policies you already hold
• The plan name or UIN, if you are asking about a specific one

For existing LIC policyholders

Some things must go through LIC's own official channels — we will not pretend otherwise. For claims, changes to your policy record, or anything requiring LIC's authorisation, LIC's branch and its official portal are the route. We can help you understand what is needed and get the paperwork right before you go.
