The plan information, guides and calculators on this site are provided to help you understand LIC products. They are general in nature and are not personalised financial, tax or legal advice. Your own circumstances matter, and no page here knows them.

Calculators are estimates

Every calculator on this site performs arithmetic on the numbers and assumptions you supply. Results are illustrative estimates, not quotations, and not guaranteed outcomes. They do not use LIC premium rates, bonus rates or surrender values. An actual premium or benefit figure can only come from LIC's official documents.

Product information may change

LIC revises, withdraws and reissues plans. We record the source and date of verification for each plan and correct errors when we find them, but the authoritative and current version of any product fact is always LIC's own document. Where a detail has not been verified against that document, the plan page says so — read those markers before relying on a page. How we verify information explains this in full.

Policy terms come from LIC

Any LIC policy taken out is a contract between you and Life Insurance Corporation of India, governed by the policy document LIC issues. Nothing on this site varies, adds to, or overrides those terms. Where this site and an LIC policy document differ, the policy document governs.

Please read the sales brochure and policy wording carefully before concluding a sale. Benefits under a policy are subject to the terms and conditions of that policy, including eligibility, exclusions and underwriting.
