My policy lapsed. Can I still revive it?
A policy lapses when a premium goes unpaid beyond the grace period. It is not necessarily gone: LIC allows revival within a defined period from the date of the first unpaid premium, by paying the arrears together with interest.
Revival may require evidence of continued good health, and LIC can accept, decline, or apply conditions. That is the part worth planning around — the longer you leave it, the more likely your health has changed, and a revival that would have been routine can become difficult.
If you have missed premiums, the practical advice is simply to act now rather than waiting for a convenient month.
